Since the pandemic began, we've all relied much more on technology. When we can’t share special moments with loved ones in person, we stay connected online.
For many of us, technology has been a lifeline.
Technology is critical for rangers, too. At Nyae Nyae Conservancy, in Namibia, rangers rely on remote cameras and SMART devices to locate rhinos, monitor their health, and keep them safe. Without this information, rhinos can be left vulnerable.
We cannot let that happen. To save rhinos, we’ve got to bring them into focus. We must ensure that rangers have the technology that they need to keep their watchful eyes on rhinos.
With one click, you can help.
Keep Nyae Nyae's rangers and rhinos connected
Between 11 November and 8 December 2021, 50% of all donations to the Keep Rhinos Connected appeal will go to Nyae Nyae Conservancy, in Namibia, to purchase essential technology equipment. The remaining 50% will support other urgent rhino conservation efforts across Africa and Asia.
