raised for rhino programmes in 2018/19
Rhino poaching has reached crisis point, and across the globe rhino habitat is shrinking.
It’s shocking that today, three of the five species of rhino are Critically Endangered, and two of them have fewer than 80 animals left in the wild.
The good news is that together we can stop poaching and habitat loss so that in 20 years’ time, rhinos will no longer be near extinction. But we need to act now.

At the heart of our work is the protection of rhinos in the wild, through funding rangers, their dogs and rhino care.

Reducing illegal trade
We’re stopping people from wanting to buy horn in the first place, and gaining insights to help stop the criminals involved in the illegal trade of horn.

We’re supporting community-led conservation, so that people living near rhinos are inspired to protect wildlife.
