Since 2019, New World Foods has donated to Save the Rhino International for every pack of Cruga Biltong sold. Each pack bought is a small act of support for rhinos.
Cruga Biltong is made to an authentic South African recipe and has brought this much-loved African snack to shelves across the UK. Behind the brand is New World Foods, a team with a strong connection to Africa and its wildlife.

From the supermarket shelf to the savannah
Over the past seven years, New World Foods has raised £231,742.49 for rhino conservation programmes across Africa and Asia. That support reaches the rangers and our partners who work tirelessly to protect rhinos and their habitats.
At Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park in South Africa, funding has helped provide rangers with gas stoves for hot meals and comfortable mattresses to rest and recharge after long shifts in the field. The Cruga team has also shown their support closer to home, cheering on our incredible London Marathon runners and providing biltong to help them refuel at the post-race picnic.
