INDASA: By the Rhyno, for the Rhino
INDASA, a leading global abrasives manufacturer, has the rhino at the heart of its brand. Now INDASA is putting that passion into action to help protect rhinos in the wild.
We’re proud to partner with INDASA...
For decades, the Rhyno® symbol has stood alongside the INDASA name as a sign of strength and resilience. Its people call themselves the “rhino family” and its factory is home to thousands of rhino figures gathered by colleagues and visitors from around the world.
The “By the Rhyno, for the Rhino” campaign turns that symbol into real support. By the Rhyno means using the brand to raise awareness and inspire action. For the Rhino turns that awareness into funds for rhino conservation through selected Rhinogrip and Rhinostick products.
INDASA’s reach makes this partnership special. Its global network carries the conservation message to brand new audiences and people.
“I think the passion that INDASA has for rhinos and all the people who work for INDASA have for rhinos is really inspiring to see.”
Jo Shaw, CEO, Save the Rhino International
Together, we’re delivering impact for rhinos in the wild
Conservation is a long game. Progress is measured in decades, so reliable funding matters. INDASA’s commitment means we can plan ahead and direct support to where it will make the greatest difference, from new rhino populations in Kenya to wildlife patrols in Indonesia and tracking dog teams in South Africa.
Often the greatest needs are the simplest ones; uniforms and boots for rangers, fuel and tyres to keep vehicles on patrol. These basics keep protected areas running. In turn, those areas shelter thousands of other species and support the communities who live around them.
“Knowing that there’s that consistent income coming in and that it’s a reliable commitment through the year that we know we can allocate where it’s needed is really important to us.”
Jo Shaw, CEO, Save the Rhino International
Thank you!
A huge thank you to the whole rhino family at INDASA. As Jo says, “Recovery is possible.” With partners like INDASA, we’re making it happen one rhino at a time
