Volunteer with us at the London Marathon 2025!

We are now recruiting a team of event volunteers to help support Save the Rhino International at the London Marathon 2025!

Where and when?

London, United Kingdom – Sunday 27 April 2025.

What will I be doing?

The day will be active and involve supporting our team near the finish line of the Marathon in St James Park. Tasks will include pre-event set up and pack down, welcoming marathoners, cheer points, finish line support and creating an amazing atmosphere for all our runners and their guests. Though this is an all-day event, we will break the day into two shifts from which you can choose.

Food and refreshments will be provided for all volunteers on the day, and Save the Rhino can reimburse expenses up to £10 per day for travel costs associated with your volunteering.

Do I need any previous experience for this role?

You don’t need any specific experience to volunteer with us. For this role, we’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic about the work of Save the Rhino and happy to engage with our staff, marathon team and the general public, ensuring they have a great experience. Please be aware the day will involve some heavy lifting and we will ensure you are given a safety briefing before taking part. Before an offer to volunteer is made, we may ask for the contact details of one relevant reference.
