The Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon returns to the city in May 2026, and we’re so excited to be part of this incredible event once again.
Inspired by the remarkable strength and courage of Rob Burrow, this marathon has become a powerful celebration of community, resilience and hope. Starting and finishing at Headingley Stadium, the route takes runners through the heart of Leeds and out into the beautiful Yorkshire countryside.
Known for its uplifting atmosphere, passionate supporters and unforgettable spirit, the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon raises millions for charities every year. Save the Rhino International is proud to be one of those causes, and we’re looking for dedicated runners to join our 2026 team.

On average, our runners typically raise around £350 each; this helps us to cover the costs of your place on the team, while also maximising the funds for rhino conservation. This may feel like a daunting figure to raise. However, there are endless ways of fundraising, from bake sales to corporate sponsorship and match funding, and we’re here to support you every step of the way!
