2024 Calendar Competition

Have you got an incredible rhino image that you’d like to share? We’re on the lookout for wonderful rhino photography to share in our 2024 Rhino Calendar. Send in your image by 30 July 2023 and your submission could be featured!

Each winner will receive a complimentary 2024 Save the Rhino calendar in December, with one overall winner also receiving a pair of Nikon PROSTAFF P7 binoculars! Enter by 30 July to win!

By entering this competition, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions as set out below:

All entries must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe the rights of any third party. Entrants must have gained permission of any people featured in the entries, and/or of their parents/guardians if children under 16 are featured.

Submissions must be sent through Save the Rhino’s website here between 1 July 2023 and 30 July 2023. After this period, submissions will not be judged or used by Save the Rhino for the calendar competition. Image submissions will not be accepted through any other communications.

There is no entry fee or purchase necessary for people to enter this competition.

Entrants under the age of 18 will need their parent’s/guardian’s to fill out the sections asking for their parent’s name, phone number and email address and must confirm they have their parent’s/guardian’s permission to participate in the competition. All contact from Save the Rhino to any entrant under the age of 18 will be made through and with the parent/guardian.

By entering this competition, all entrants grant Save the Rhino International the right to publish and exhibit the supplied photos (with necessary credits) on social media, promotional material, the calendar itself, and Save the Rhino’s website. Winning entrants (i.e. where the photo is featured in the calendar) also agree to take part in post-competition publicity, if required.

The winning photos will also be shared with the calendar’s sponsors, to be used in their own marketing and communications material. All photography used by the sponsor will include necessary credits.

Winners will be chosen fairly by staff members of Save the Rhino International and a select judging panel of Save the Rhino’s partners, once the entry period has ended.

If an entrant’s photo is chosen, they will be informed at the earliest possible time before the calendar is open for sale, by email and/or by phone if they have not responded within seven days.

If an entrant’s photo is chosen for the calendar, the entrant is not entitled to any income received by Save the Rhino for the sale of the 2024 calendar or other related promotional material.

If an entrant’s photo is chosen, the entrant will be sent one copy of the published calendar, once it is printed, at no cost. The winning entry selected as the overall winning submission will also receive an additional prize of binoculars, supplied by Nikon UK, which will sent by post to the winner, at no further cost to them.

All data provided to Save the Rhino International, in relation to this competition, will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and entrants hereby consent to Save the Rhino International using said personal data for the purposes of this competition.
