Thank you for supporting our Canine Unit Appeal!

Thank you!

Over the last week, we have been overwhelmed by your support and kindness. Thanks to you, we have raised over £100,000 for the canine units at North Luangwa National Park, Zambia, Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, Kenya, and Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park, South Africa! This is our biggest appeal yet and we couldn’t have done it without you.

These funds will help provide nutritious food, safe kennels, veterinary care and specialist training for the dogs working with rangers every day. Their skills make a real difference in detecting illegal wildlife products, supporting patrols and helping keep rhinos and surrounding communities safe.

Joseph Piroris, Head of Lewa’s Canine Unit “The Lewa Canine Unit has achieved great impact over the years. The dogs not only support anti-poaching work, they are also often called upon to support in follow-up to criminal activities in the neighbouring communities.”
