Engaging with the business community
Since its launch on World Rhino Day in September 2014, the Chi campaign has been rolled out in Viet Nam’s biggest cities through outdoor billboards, Chi-themed networking and lifestyle events, and a recently-launched website, suctaichi.com, which creates a forum to discuss and learn about Chi. Guided by insight from Traffic's first baseline survey (completed in January 2015).
Traffic have been working hard to engage with the business communities in Vietnam including business umbrella groups and business training institutions. Traffic have signed a 5 year MoU with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
The team have delivered CSR presentations to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and are now working with companies to implement ethical codes of conduct relating to wildlife consumption in their codes of conduct.
