As well as the long-term, ongoing field programmes that we support, we occasionally make one-off grants to an NGO for a particular - perhaps short-term - project.

'Save the Rhino Trust - Namibia' projects:

  Using modern technology to protect Africa's rhinos: security and technology workshop

  Namibia

  A practical, technical meeting for rhino field programme managers from African rhino range states and India, to examine new technologies for use for rhino montoring and anti-poaching.

  The scene of the crime

  Namibia

  In February and March 2012, participants from the Namibian government and local NGOs undertook a series of Scene-of-the-crime training courses delivered by Wildlife Investigators Rod Potter and Wayne Evans

  A southern African sabbatical

  Namibia

  From February to July 2011, Save the Rhino's Director, Cathy Dean, and her husband, Kenneth Donaldson, spent a six-month sabbatical working with Save the Rhino Trust, the Ministry of Environment and Tourism and the Dambari Wildlife Trust
