To see what it's really like to run as a rhino, watch one of Save the Rhino's fantastic rhino runners from the 2012 London marathon...here

All Save the Rhino's Golden Bond places for the London 2013 marathon have been filled. If you received an Own Place from the ballot and would like to fundraise for Save the Rhino, we would love you to join the team!

As part of Save the Rhino's marathon team you will:

- Receive support throughout the coming months on training, fundraising and what to expect on the day
- Be invited to a fundraising/meet the team evening
- Receive a Save the Rhino dry fit t-shirt
- Receive full support on the day of the marathon, including after event food, drinks & massages!!

The London Marathon is the biggest charity fund raising running event in the world with roughly £50 million being raised for a large variety of charities each year. It is also one of the most popular running events for both professional athletes, novice runners and spectators alike!

Save the Rhino has had the pleasure of entering a team into London every year since 1992! It is consistently our single biggest fund raising event of the year and is of vital significance to the operation of the charity. With so much experience organising successful marathon teams each year it'd be silly to look elsewhere!

Runners comments from the 2012 marathon include:

''I had an AMAZING day yesterday- thank you so much everyone at Save the Rhino for all your hugs, smiles, massages, congratulations, support, food and drink, you are all amazing!''

''Thank you so much for yesterday - It was all way better than I thought it would be, and not feeling too rough today either (although I did walk most of the way!) Loved every minute of it, definitely would like to do it all again next year; the reaction from the crowds was fantastic! Going to miss being a rhino''

Thank you so much to the save the rhino team who helped us all get round today...that was really hard, but also one of the best days of my life to date!
