Save the Rhino, with Discover Adventure, is offering a brand new set of charity challenges you can take part in to raise money for rhino conservation.
As well as the challenges outlined below, there are a whole host of challenges in the UK and abroad for you to choose from on the Discover Adventure website. Just pick your challenge and select Save the Rhino as your nominated charity.
Land's End to John O'Groats Cycle
The furthest possible distance in the British Isles - starting at Land’s End on the southwesterly tip of England, through Cornwall, over Dartmoor and north along the Welsh border, skirting the Lake District into Scotland, via lochs and mountains to the North coast and John O’Groats. In all you will cover almost 1000 miles in 12 days, passing through some of the most stunning and remote countryside in the British Isles.
Trek the distance of a marathon, approx. 26 miles in a day for a tough physical challenge!
Cheddar to Glastonbury Trekathon
From Cheddar Village through the Mendip Hills and the City of Wells, you will finish at the Glastonbury Tor.
Stonehenge to Avebury Trekathon:
Starting in the atmospheric Stonehenge before heading off across the Salisbury plain, pass the ancient landmark of Silbury Hill, to the prehistoric Avebury.
Spire 2 Spire Trekathon
From Winchester's historic Cathedral to the magnificent 13th Century Salisbury Cathedral, walking The Claredon Way.
