The Rhino Mayday 2008

 

An annual event taking place every May, this is a one-day conference for conservation charity workers, zoologists, researchers and interested members of the public.

The annual Rhino Mayday will be held on Wednesday 14 May 2008 at the Huxley Conference Theatre at the Zoo in Regent’s Park, London. There will be an exciting programme of talks from 10.30 am to 5.00 pm. The day is organised by the Rhino Resource Center in conjunction with the Zoological Society of London and Save the Rhino International. Entry is £12 only, including coffee / tea in the morning and afternoon.

Kes Hillman Smith (black rhinos in the Selous Game Reserve)
Willem van Strien (use of websites to further conservation)
Isabelle & Jean-François Lagrot (rhinoceros in Cameroon extinct?)
Kees Rookmaaker (what happened in our lifetime)

Tickets (only £12 per person) can be obtained in advance by booking online, or by downloading the ticket order form in the lefhand column of this page, filling it in with your cheque or credit card details, and posting it to Save the Rhino, 16 Winchester Walk, London SE1 9AQ, or by credit card over the phone (020 7357 7474).
