rhino poaching

Saving Africa's Rhinos
Voices of America has produced a five-part series of reports on rhino poaching, with comment from Save the Rhino's Deputy Director, Lucy Boddam-Whetham. The coverage includes detailed reports about the current poaching crisis in South Africa, and the debate around the legalisation of the rhino horn trade. You can read the series here, clicking through to all five different reports, or alternatively choose the mp3s to listen to the radio versions.

Save the Rhino International works to conserve viable populations of critically endangered rhinos in Africa and Asia. We recognise that the future of wildlife is inextricably linked to the communities that share its habitat. By funding field projects and through education, our goal is to deliver material, long-lasting and widespread benefits to rhinos and other endangered species, ecosystems and to the people living in these areas.
