Last year Victor Stationery, the long-established manufacturer and leading supplier of quality paper stationery and exercise books to the education, commercial and retail stationery markets, announced a major new initiative in support of Save the Rhino International.
Close to a year on, thousands of pounds have come in donations through all of Victor Stationery’s flagship “Rhino®” range, which is now co-branded with a specially created “Buying Rhinos saves Rhinos” logo. This spreads the awareness-raising message across universities, schools and offices across the country. Twelve million branded notebooks have gone to London alone.
Victor Stationery has also developed a new range of special rhino notebooks and Save the Rhino will really feel the impact of these when students start or go back to universities later this year to find the new range in their campus shops.
The stationery supplier’s support isn’t all about raising awareness though; we also receive a very welcome cheque every month! Such ongoing and reliable support is exactly what fundraisers dream about and finding a matching and trustworthy corporate partner is precisely what Save the Rhino has found in Victor Stationery.
The original link between Victor Stationery and Save the Rhino was based on the use of a rhino image as our logo, making this partnership like something out of a fundraising handbook. But it has developed into a mutually beneficial and interesting way of working together. I cannot wait to continue to work with Victor Stationery to see what other interesting initiatives the future holds. Through their support we will no doubt generate new supporters and rhino fans but also continue to be able to allocate funding to projects in the field, directing the money to where it’s most needed.
Needless to say, but I simply can not emphasise this enough – a thousand thanks go to the Victor Stationery teams in County Down and Talinn.
