Save the Rhino would like to thank everyone who helped us to keep the behind-the-scenes work going. Hardest of all fundraising is securing unrestricted income for Save the Rhino’s office in London. We’re a pretty lean, mean organisation: holes in the carpet; shabby office furniture reclaimed from the pavements; we haul bags of mail to the Post Office rather than getting it collected. We don’t have a franking machine, a colour printer or a fully functioning telephone switchboard – all those nice-to-have but non-essential things – but we still have to pay for our own staff salaries, rent and rates, postage, the auditor’s and accountant’s fees and so on.
Companies
So we’re incredibly grateful to everone below for contributing to our Annual Fund, would especially thank Ecko Unlimited and Victor Stationery for their generous donations and support.
Ecko Unlimited: Marc Ecko founded Ecko Unlimited, the world-famous rhino brand in 1993. In ten years the company has grown into the largest urban apparel brand with products available in over 5,000 stores domestically and in over 45 countries internationally. Ecko joined forces with Save the Rhino to design a special edition T-shirt with all profits dedicated to rhino conservation.
Victor Stationery: the leading stationery manufacturers and suppliers, and Save the Rhino have formed a long-term relationship - led by the co-branded "rhino" product range "Buying Rhinos Saves Rhinos". A special design notebook has been designed to endorce the partnership.
Saffery Champness: the accounting firm which helps us by telling us all we need to know about VAT, and recently showed us how to claim back tax we needn't have paid over the last six years. Without their support, we'd be just as much in the dark about the machinations of VAT as, well, almost everyone.
23Red: for the help we get with design and marketing. Acumen Marketing Management Ltd. Beasty Bags: Fun and stylish seating alternative for all the family, including a beanbag shaped like a rhino! Centrepoint Computer Services Chapel and York Clipper Teas: Clipper kindly provides a continual supply of tea for the Save the Rhino membership packs, and keep the office very well supplied too. Colourhouse: The friendly printers. Cottons Fitness Exchange: For hosting our London Marathon Training evenings every year. Discovery Initiatives Ecotricity: We've teamed up with Ecotricity, the UK's first and leading green electricity company, so you can make the switch cheaply and easily. You can switch online or by phone and you won't pay more either because Ecotricity will match the price of your local electricity provider. The Exotic Paper Company: Makers of some snazzy rhino poo paper. 100% recycled and excellent quality! Give It Interstate: Who design our bi-annual magazine, The Horn. Kalahari Pepper Company Mountain Media London Speaker Bureau: For helping us with our events. Rhinos Energy Drink: GB Beverages Ltd hold the exclusive distribution rights for Rhino's energy drink in the UK. Rhino's is the new generation of energy drink, based on pure spring water from the Austrian Alps. The taste is refreshing and invigorating, and GB Beverages offers the highest quality at the lowest price. And whats even better, Save the Rhino receives a donation from every case sold! Red Rhino: Web design in Northern Ireland. Rhino Wine Gear: Your source for wine accessories, wine totes, and other wine gifts on-line. Visit their website to find out more about their magnificent products and to read more about the cause-related marketing partnership that Save the Rhino has formed with Rhino Wine Gear, whereby we receive a percentage of the company’s profits. Suzuki GB Quotes for Charity: Get them to give you a quote for your mortgage, life cover or home insurance; and if you decided to use their services we get a donation.
