As an official sponsor of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Continental Tyres is offering the chance to watch the Big Game in style - live in South Africa or in the comfort of your living room in spectacular HD with the latest home entertainment equipment from Sony whilst also supporting Save the Rhino. On offer are three VIP trips for two to South Africa with tickets to see the World Cup final and two nights at the luxury Amanzingwe Lodge hotel and some top notch safari activities and 50 runner up prizes of hi-tec Sony equipment. To enter the draw you simply need to purchase two or more continental tyres between 1 March and 30 April and then complete an entry form. For every entry received with a qualifying tyre purchase, Continental Tyres will donate £1 to Save the Rhino. Visit www.dontmissthebiggame.co.uk for more details.
Continental is also launching a search for the UK’s biggest football fan and asking lovers of The Beautiful Game to come forward with their tales about what lengths they have gone to in order to get to a match. So, if you or anyone you know has a story to tell, all you have to do is fill out the entry form at www.continentalsbiggame.co.uk and in no more than 500 words explain how you have proved your loyalty to your team by going to extreme measures to get to a game. For every qualifying entry that Continental receives, the company will donate another £1 to Save the Rhino. The deadline for these entries is 26 April. A judging panel will then select 10 quarter finalists on the 3 May, which will then be whittled down to four semi-finalists on 12 May. Each of these semi-finalists will then have to make a video telling the world why they deserve to scoop the top spot and these will be posted on the website and voted for by members of the public. The contestant with the most votes will be announced on 4 June and will win an amazing holiday to South Africa and of course the honour of being awarded the title of ‘Britain’s Biggest Football Fan’.
