Save the Rhino organised another successfull comedy night at The Bloomsbury Theatre on Thursday 17 September.  Thank you very much to all the comedians for giving up their time to help.

Jack Whitehall, just back from performing his solo show Nearly Rebellious (“a wonderfully enjoyable hour of comedy” - 4* The Telegraph) at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, hosted the evening with The Penny Dreadfuls, Dan Clark, Paul Kerensa and others for a hilarious night in aid of Save the Rhino.

Jack Whitehall - "Terrifyingly confident newcomer Jack Whitehall is a shoo-in for stardom" Evening Standard
Just back from performing a solo show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Jack has a host of competition titles and live appearances under his belt including The Sunday Night Project and 8 Out of 10 Cats.

The Penny Dreadfuls - "goofiness, eccentricity and chemistry that has the flashes of the young Pythons and the sound of Rowan Atkinson from his Blackadder days,” The Sunday Herald
Also just returning from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Penny Dreadfuls are a trio of handsome and fearless comedians who form a British sketch-comedy show.

Josie Long - "My face hurt from laughing" Ross Noble
Winner of the BBC New Comedy Award at the age of 17 and more recently she also scooped best newcomer in the if.comeddie awards for her solo Edinburgh debut, Kindness and Exuberance.

Idiots of Ants - "Very slick and very funny"…"marvellous." Time Out
Fresh from working with John Cleese at the Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival and getting nominated for an Edinburgh Comedy Award, the Idiots of Ants bring their unique blend of fast paced sketch comedy to London.

Tom Wrigglesworth -“The gods of comedy chose Tom Wrigglesworth for greatness” Scotsman
Tom’s new show was the buzz of this year’s Edinburgh festival.  The show was also nominated for the coveted Edinburgh Comedy Award and received tremendous critical acclaim, and countless 5 Star reviews.

Dan Clark"60 minutes of uninterrupted comic ecstasy" Metro
Actor, writer and stand-up comedian Dan Clark is currently working on the second series of HNTLYL. Written, directed by and starring Dan, the series has been nominated for "Best Comedy Programme" at the 2009 Broadcast Awards, and Dan himself has received a "Best Male Comedy Newcomer" nomination at this years Comedy Awards. 

Paul Kerensa - "F***ing funny." Ricky Gervais
British Comedy Award Nominee 2007, exiled Cornishman Paul Kerensa has established himself as one of British comedy's leading young talents, both as a writer and a comedian

Ione Harding - is a scientist turned comedian and an upcoming talent on the live circuit.

Andi Osho - “… a natural talent….” Rory Bremner
In a short space of time, Andi has made a big impression on the comedy circuit and after four months and just 40 gigs she won The Nivea Funny Women Award.
