On Thursday 13th November Save the Rhino and the Environmental Investigation Agency jointly hosted Pecha Kucha Asia at The Porchester Hall in London.
Pecha Kucha is a relatively new format devised by Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham and it means that each speaker has 20 slides and 20 seconds to talk per slide. Each of our speakers; Louis Theroux, Dave Currey, Adam Buxton, Mike Birkhead, Bamber Gascoigne and Valentine Warner talked about an Asian passion or experience and talks varied from Sushi to Indian Gurus to Illegal logging in Indonesia so as you can imagine guests were entertained throughout!
The night was a huge success so we would like to thank all the speakers, our very funny MC for the evening Craig Brown, all of our sponsors and all of you who attended and helped us raise money for our Asian conservation projects.
